The first BATMASS dissemination webinar, titled “Pioneering Second-Life Battery Innovative Solutions: Contributions from GREENVISION and ENVIROBAT”, will take place online on Friday, 21st March, at 10:30 a.m. (CEST).
The session will focus on common challenges and emerging technological trends in the second-life use of light electric vehicle batteries, with a particular emphasis on small and medium-capacity mobile energy storage systems (ESS) and battery repurposing solutions.
The event will begin with an introduction to the BATMASS project by Marcello Colledani, Project Coordinator and Professor at Politecnico di Milano.
Following this, Yann Lelong, Director at Green-Vision, will share insights into the development of small-capacity mobile ESS, presented earlier at WMS. Sergei Molchanov, Electronic Engineer at Envirobat Spain SL, will then introduce the prototype battery pack using recovered 18650 model batteries for second-life applications.
A Q&A session will close the webinar, allowing participants to engage directly with the speakers and explore key insights on battery circularity and digitalisation in the sector.
