Pilot 2: High innovative Pilot on Battery Second Life
This task comes with two parallel industrial pilots in the developed region of Ile de France and the underdeveloped region of Castilla la Mancha (Spain), interconnected and creating interregional value.
Sub Pilot 1
Scale up and implementation of a scalable battery test bench pilot to identify, sort and manufacture used batteries for a second life use at home or for industrial energy storage. to test and evaluate the performances and safety of the used batteries for new applications. Such equipment would be used by the battery dismantler to sort the batteries before recycling.
Sub Pilot 2
Product design and manufacturing of elementary and universal storage systems which could be used by SMEs or home use for small and intermediate energy storage (5 to 500 KWh).
