CONSORTIUM
BATMASS consortium brought together actors from the quadruple helix, stemming from the regional ecosystems of advanced and less advanced regions (i.e. Andalucía, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Castilla–La Mancha, Castilla-y-Leon, Hauts-de-France, Ile-de-France, Lazio, Lombardy, Nouvelle Aquitaine, Valencia, and Slovenia). RTOs and Clusters are considered as support engines to private-led demonstrators, aligning S3 strategies to grow a resilient battery materials supply chain and green both our mobility and industry. The value of such approach is critical to position regions at the heart of the relocation of production capacity back to the EU.
All consortium partners are bringing a key building block of the tech deployment system. RTOs and Research partners (Pavia U., Slovenian Institute of Chemistry, POLIMI) and SME innovators (Nanofaber, Lomartov) will fuel technological upscaling blocks into industrial Demo lighthouse leaders (ERP, ORANO, GREEN-VISION, ENVIROBAT and VERKOR). They will be supported by an ecosystem orchestrated by the clusters (CTA, AFIL, TEAM2, ISMC) and a company specialised in elaborating and implementing strategies for innovation investment as N-ABLE, under the leadership of POLIMI.
