On 11 March 2026, the European BATMASS project was presented at an event organised by project partner ISMC, bringing together stakeholders from the innovation ecosystem working on circular economy and raw materials.
During the event, Marta Macías from CTA (Corporación Tecnológica de Andalucía), partner of the BATMASS project, introduced the project’s objectives and its role in advancing circular solutions for the European battery value chain. The presentation highlighted BATMASS’ work in battery recycling, materials recovery and circular business models aimed at strengthening Europe’s resilience in the battery sector.
Spotlight on the CBV Investment Forum
The session also served as an opportunity to present the upcoming Circular Battery Valley (CBV) Investment Forum, which will take place on 17 March 2026. The forum will bring together investors, industry representatives, policymakers and innovators to explore investment opportunities that can accelerate the transition towards a circular battery economy in Europe.
By sharing the initiative with participants, the event helped raise awareness of the CBV Investment Forum and encouraged engagement from stakeholders interested in supporting the scale-up of circular battery solutions.
BATMASS continues to promote dialogue and collaboration across Europe’s battery ecosystem, fostering connections between industry, innovation actors and investors to advance the transition towards a sustainable and circular battery value chain.
