From 8 to 10 April, BATMASS took part in Rematec 2025, one of the most important international trade fairs for remanufacturing and circular innovation, held in Amsterdam.
The event brought together leading voices and companies working on reuse, recycling, and second-life applications for batteries. Our project was proud to be represented at two key sessions, alongside partners from Envirobat España and Green Vision, who shared valuable insights on the role of circularity in the battery value chain.
Envirobat España S.L., as part of the BATMASS project, participated in Rematec Amsterdam, showcasing a pilot battery pack made from reused 18650 cylindrical cells for energy storage applications.
Notably, our project coordinator Prof. Marcello Colledani (Politecnico di Milano) had the honour of opening the conference with a keynote speech, setting the tone for a programme focused on sustainable innovation and cross-sectoral collaboration.
In addition to the sessions, several interviews were conducted to further showcase our work and amplify our message through social media.
