From 15 to 16 April, BATMASS project took part in E-TECH Europe 2025, one of the leading international trade fairs dedicated to the electric vehicle and battery manufacturing industry, held in Bologna, Italy.

The event brought together over 150 exhibitors from across Europe and beyond, alongside a robust programme of technical sessions and networking opportunities focused on energy transition, battery development, and sustainable mobility.

BATMASS was presented as part of a joint stand alongside the European projects RENOVATE and AUTOMAT, coordinated by ERP Italia Servizi, with participation from our partners Politecnico di Milano and the University of Pavia. The stand provided a shared space to engage with stakeholders and showcase collaborative efforts in battery recycling and circular innovation.

Sara Bergamasco, from our partner Nanofaber, represented BATMASS in the conference programme with a presentation titled “Re-engineering the electrolytes with solvent-free technologies – BATMASS Project”, highlighting the project’s work on greener and safer battery components.

The fair was also an excellent opportunity to strengthen connections with other EU initiatives and raise visibility for BATMASS among industry professionals and researchers.
