The Mayor of Angerville visits Green-Vision to explore second-life battery solutions

In September 2025, Green-Vision hosted two meetings with local authorities from the Essonne department, including the Mayor of Angerville, to present its ongoing work on second-life battery projects developed within the framework of the BATMASS Project.

The first visit took place on September 15 at Green-Vision’s premises, followed by a second meeting on September 26 at the Angerville town hall and the local school complex—a potential site for future deployment.

Discussions focused on how Green-Vision’s technologies contribute to the circular economy, extend the lifespan of electric vehicle batteries, and support the sustainable energy transition at regional level.

As a result, the Mayor expressed interest in implementing a modular second-life storage system at the town’s school complex—already equipped with solar panels—creating a pilot site that would also serve as an educational tool for students.

This collaboration exemplifies how BATMASS fosters innovation and local partnerships to accelerate Europe’s move toward a more sustainable and circular battery value chain.
