The BATMASS project will take part in the fifth edition of the Battery Innovation Days (BID), taking place on 2–3 December 2025 in Graz, Austria, and online. This flagship event brings together leading policymakers, scientists, and industry representatives to discuss the future of battery research and innovation in Europe.
Organised jointly by Battery 2030+, BEPA, and the IPCEI initiatives, BID serves as a key meeting point for the European Batteries R&I Community — a collaborative effort to accelerate innovation, foster sustainability, and strengthen Europe’s battery ecosystem.
For BATMASS, this event represents an opportunity to showcase its progress in advancing a circular economy for batteries, through innovations in recycling, materials recovery, and second-life applications. Visitors will be able to learn more about the project’s contributions to creating Europe’s Circular Battery Valley (CBV), a model for sustainable battery production and resource management.
Hosted by the Styrian Business Promotion Agency (SFG), this year’s edition will feature expert panels, networking sessions, the Battery Young Researcher Award, and a series of exclusive site visits and exhibitor showcases.
