On November 6, 2024, #AFIL and ERP Italia Servizi participated in the meeting titled “Digitalization as an Enabler of Process Traceability in Battery and WEEE Recycling,” organized as part of the Ecomondo Fair in Rimini.
The meeting, hosted by Cobo Group S.p.A. and featuring the participation of Feelera S.r.l., outlined the strategic role of digitalization in the recycling, reuse, and repurposing processes of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). During the workshop, the planned digitalization activities within the BATMASS project, where both AFIL and ERP Italia Servizi are partners, were presented. The discussion also highlighted the exploitation of synergies with the RENOVATE and AUTOMAT projects, where ERP Italia Servizi is a partner, and the CLOSER project, where both AFIL and ERP Italia Servizi are involved. These collaborations reinforce the collective effort to promote digitalization as a cross-cutting enabler in the battery supply chain.
The event was crucial in facilitating strategic connections, fostering the development of synergies, and defining essential growth strategies for the battery sector.
