The European BATMASS project was one of the main protagonists at the fourth edition of the Battery Innovation Days (BID) 2024, held on 26 and 27 October at the Hotel Barceló Sans in Barcelona. This leading international event brought together research leaders, policy makers, key industry players and end users, consolidating itself as a key space for the exchange of knowledge and technologies in the field of batteries.
From stand 15, the BATMASS team presented the project’s innovative solutions designed to transform the battery value chain in Europe. Through its pilot plants, BATMASS showed how to integrate circularity and sustainability principles into the sector, addressing key aspects such as the development of more sustainable materials, advanced cell design and efficient recycling methods.
The participation in the Battery Innovation Days allowed the project to connect with experts and professionals interested in moving towards a more competitive and environmentally friendly European battery industry. In addition, BATMASS stood out for its focus on practical and replicable solutions, positioning itself as a benchmark on the path towards a more sustainable battery ecosystem.
